Colombian police seize over 3 tons of marijuana

Colombian police said Wednesday that they seized 3.276 tons of marijuana Tuesday night in Norte de Santander department, Xinhua reported.
  
According to the police, the marijuana was packed in 52 bags, hidden in a manor in the rural area of Cucuta city located in the border region with Venezuela.
  
The marijuana allegedly belong to alias "El Flaco," who has close relation with the criminal band "Los Rastrojos."
  
The drug was presumably to be sent to Venezuela, police said.
  
Guerillas, drug-traffickers and criminal bands are always active in the border regions of Colombia, which is the largest producer and second exporter of cocaine in the world.
