Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari is on two-day official visit to Syria, TRT Russian web site reported.
On his arrival in Damascus, Zardari met with his Syrian Counterpart Bashar Assad. During the meeting they discussed the Pakistan-Syria relations and regional and international issues, the official Pakistani news agency reported.
Moreover, the leaders exchanged views on the issues of a regional conference on Afghanistan to be held in Turkey in January.
Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf's visit to Syria was the last visit of the Pakistani side at the presidential level to this country.
