An action plan on visa liberalisation with the EU will be announced in a few days, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said during his visit to Riga. The Georgian President and the First Lady are on an official visit to Latvia.
"It means that Georgians will travel to Europe without a visa in a few years. It is the result of our readmission policy and the fight against crime. Therefore, we want to explore your experience in European integration," the president said.
Mikheil Saakashvili expressed his confidence that the work of Georgia and the EU on a free trade agreement will be completed next year.
