General Director of Telasi Devi Kandelaki and several prominent businessmen and former senior executives were arrested in Georgia on Wednesday after questioning by the investigative service of the Ministry of Finance. "We actually hired a consulting firm to receive information about tariff and tax system in Georgia, as well as to study the consolidation of the management of all the Georgian assets of Inter RAO. It analyzed the situation in all our Georgian assets in order for us to get a clear vision in these areas. Ultimate aim of this work, of course, is to reduce tariffs in Georgia. We hired a consulting company that worked efficiently with relevant Georgian ministries "- said the" RAO "RIA Novosti reported.

According to him, a consulting company was hired in August.
