In the first seven months of 2019 (January-July), 875,869 flights were carried out in Turkey, which is 1.7 percent less compared to the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey.
During this period, there were 482,707 domestic flights and 393,162 international flights.
In January-July, the number of domestic flights decreased by 8.5 percent, while the number of international flights increased by 8.2 percent,” the ministry said.
During the reported period, a total of 307,433 flights were carried out at three main airports of Turkey - Sabiha Gokcen, Esenboga and Antalya airports.
