As many as 91,324 commercial flights were carried out in Turkey in January 2020, which is 3.7 percent less compared to January 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey's Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.
According to the ministry, 49,396 of the commercial flights were domestic, while the remaining 41,928 were international.
The number of domestic commercial flights decreased by 9.4 percent, compared to January 2019, while the number international ones increased by 3.9 percent.
A total of 31,711 commercial flights were carried out at three main airports of Turkey - Sabiha Gokcen, Esenboga and Antalya airports in January 2020.
