The President of Turkmenistan approved a proposal to conclude a Memorandum of Understanding and financial conditions between the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs and the Asian Development Bank to finance projects planned for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, Trend reports citing Turkmen media.
According to the information, the proposal was voiced by Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the next online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister reported on the activities of institutions of the financial and economic complex, as well as on the practical steps taken to expand cooperation with international financial organizations and banks to attract credit funds and foreign investment and support entrepreneurship.
It is reported that the export-oriented projects of domestic entrepreneurs proposed for financing in the prescribed manner will be analyzed by the relevant State Commission established in accordance with the Decree of the leader of Turkmenistan.
After hearing the report, the head of state said that in this regard, work should be continued to finance projects of representatives of Turkmen business.
In general, having approved the proposals presented by the Deputy Prime Minister, the leader of Turkmenistan gave appropriate instructions to ensure strict control over the implementation of the planned work.
