BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. Production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Turkmenistan in 2022 will average 0.23 million barrels per day, Trend reports with reference to the May Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO) of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The report said that extraction in 1Q2022 amounted to 0.23 million barrels a day.
The EIA forecasts that oil production will stand at 0.23 million in 2Q2022, 0.23 million in 3Q2022, and 0.23 million in 4Q2022.
Furthermore, the EIA forecasts that Turkmenistan’s liquids output will equal 0.23 million barrels a day by 2022.
The EIA also noted that Turkmenistan’s oil extraction in 1Q2021, 2Q2021, 3Q2021, and 4Q2021 amounted to 0.24 million barrels a day, 0.24 million, 0.24 million, and 0.24 million respectively, thus making up the overall of 0.24 million barrels a day for 2021.
The annual 2023 liquids production in Turkmenistan is also forecast to be at 0.24 million barrels a day, the report said.
