Georgia has reported 521 new cases of coronavirus, 1,058 recoveries, and 18 deaths in the past 24 hours, Trend reports via Georgian media.
Some 11,226 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend, 3,463 of the 11,226 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,763 were PCR tests.
The new 521 cases were recorded in:
Tbilisi - 285 cases
Adjara - 68 cases
Imereti - 36 cases
Kvemo Kartli - 10 cases
Shida Kartli - 10 cases
Guria - 6 cases
Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 49 cases
Kakheti - 39 cases
Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 16 cases
Samtskhe-Javakheti - 2 cases.
The country has had 304,272 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
Some 4.03 percent of tested individuals had COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Currently, 13,174 individuals remain infected with COVID-19.
