Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu today, Turkish media reported.
Asimov has been on a visit to Turkey since March 9.
The purpose of the visit is to conduct political consultations, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara told Trend earlier.
The official will deliver a report on "Azerbaijan's Foreign Policy: Opportunities and Problems" at the conference organized by the embassy at the Turkish International Research Center (USAK). Moreover, Asimov will also visit Bilkent University in Ankara.
Turkish media also plan to interview Asimov.
