Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 August / Trend corr. R.Ergun / Namig Sevdimov, an Azerbaijani wrestler, lost his opportunity to gain a bronze medal of the Beijing Olympic Games.
Sevdimov, who represents Azerbaijan in the Beijing Olympic Games on freestyle wrestling, struggled in 55kg of weight category.
Vitaliy Rahimov and Rovshan Bayramov, Azerbaijani sportsmen on Greco-Roman wrestling, won silver medals of the Olympic Games.
At present, Azerbaijan has gained five Olympic medals, including one gold, two silvers and two bronze.
