Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept. 22

Trend:

Money transfers between UzCard plastic cards directly from the profile in Russia’s Odnoklassniki (OK) social network became available, Uzbek media reported.

Among the advantages is ability to transfer money without using third-party applications, the smallest commission on the market and the cashback for the funds levied by the bank for a cash operation.

With the help of a new local payment service, Uzbek citizens are now able to send money inside the country conveniently, quickly, without leaving the social network.

Thanks to the new service, over two million active users of the OK in Uzbekistan (a monthly audience, 2018) will be able to transfer money to their friends and relatives. The money transfer service is available regardless of the region in all versions of the social network (mobile, desktop, Android and iOS applications). The service allows to view the history of transfers, save card numbers (not to enter them every time again) and notify about the status of the operations.

Money transfer between UzCard cards on the OK platform is the first step in development of payment services of the social network in Uzbekistan. The OK plans to launch more services in the future that will allow Uzbek people to quickly and conveniently transfer money and make payments.

Since 2016, the OK has consistently developed financial services within the social network for its users. After the launch of remittances from Russia to other countries in 2017, for the first time, they entered the foreign market by launching a translation service in Kazakhstan.
