Afghan entrepreneurs buy large batch of diesel fuel from Turkmenistan

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 30. Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased a large batch of diesel fuel through the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange, Trend reports.

According to the exchange, Afghan entrepreneurs purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel from Turkmenistan for a total of over $4 million.

Furthermore, representatives of the business circles of Türkiye and Afghanistan purchased carbamide grade 'B' produced by the Turkmenhimiya State Concern for a total of about $5.7 million.

A representative of the Georgian business community also purchased petroleum bitumen with a total value of $660,000 on the exchange.

Meanwhile, recently, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan, Batyr Amanov, said that in the first quarter of this year, Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern fully fulfilled the plan for the production of diesel fuel.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
