Major repairs of gas pipelines are underway in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
Thus, major repairs are being made to gas pipelines in the Lebap region.
In the Halach district of the Lebap region, a gas pipeline with a length of more than 3.3 kilometers has been laid to supply gas to a ceramic brick factory.
Major repairs are carried out to maintain the technical condition of gas pipelines at the appropriate level. A section of the Sakar-Kerki high-pressure gas pipeline between 190-195 kilometers was recently put into operation after major repairs.
Previously, work on the reconstruction of gas supply systems, comprehensive instrument inspection of gas pipelines, assessment of their technical condition, and replacement of pipelines was carried out in the Dashoguz region of the country.
Turkmenistan has exceeded expectations of oil and gas condensate production from January through October 2020.
The estimates of oil and gas condensate production were exceeded by 1 percent, oil refining – by 2.4 percent, gasoline production – by 7.5 percent, diesel fuel production – by 6.4 percent.
Also, the plan for natural and associated gas production was exceeded by 0.1 percent, gas exports – 0.2 percent, and investment development-by 6.2 percent.
Thus, the growth rate of liquefied gas production from January through October 2020, compared to the same period last year was 23.6 percent.
