The cement production in Iran increased by 14.1 percent during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
According to the report, about 41.9 million tons of cement were produced in Iran during the reporting period.
"While in the same period last Iranian year, 36.7 million tons of cement were produced in Iran," the report said.
In addition, Iran produced 6.23 million tons of cement in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 22 through October 21, 2020), the report said.
According to the report, Iran’s cement production in the 7th month increased by 2.8 percent compared to the 6th month (August 22 through September 21, 2020). Thus, 6.06 million tons of cement were produced in Iran in sixth month.
