( Mobilemag ) - The PowerShot isn't the only product that Canon has upgraded to start the week. Their new HR10 HD Camcorder is certainly one of the easiest ways yet for the home consumer to capture HD video. You can record up to a full 1920x1080 resolution and put the results directly onto a mini DVD that can be viewed on a Blu-Ray or AVCHD compatible DVD player.
Besides the HD recording, what really stands out about this model is the LCD screen. The 2.7 inch LCD is viewable from a full 135 degrees off-center and has a much better color range than what we are used to. The camera is due in August for a cost of $1,199.
