Garadagh Cement OSC intends to achieve the European standards regarding the protection of environment through rehabilitation of electric filters. It is one of the perspective projects of the enterprise that is planned to be realized in 2010, the chairman of the board of OSC Uve Kohler told Trend.
Touching on the construction of new stoves, the head of the company stressed that this project remains on the agenda, but its realization hasnt been started yet.
According to him, over the period of January-July 2006, the volume of the sale by В"GaradaghВ" Cement formed 718.525 tons. For all year, it is planned to realize 1.235.628 tons of cement.
В"GaradaghВ" Cement is the only manufacturer of clinker and cement in Azerbaijan. The company provides a large part of the internal market with high-qualitative products that meet international and local standards. Having started its activity in Azerbaijan in 1999, the Swiss company Holcim Group has achieved significant successes in the internal market of Azerbaijan through В"GaradaghВ" Cement. At the moment, the products of the company are used in the realization of large-scale projects in Azerbaijan, including global energy projects.
