Turkey will receive a vaccine against coronavirus on December 11, Trend reports via Turkish media outlets.

Turkey has ordered the Chinese "Sinovac" vaccine to import.

According to Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, 50 million doses of vaccine has been ordered.

Vaccinations in Turkey will be voluntary and free of charge.

The third phase of clinical testing of the Sinovac vaccine has already been successfully completed in Indonesia.

According to Indonesia's Bio Farma state pharmaceutical company, the vaccine has been shown to be 97 percent effective against COVID-19.

In Indonesia, 1,600 people have been vaccinated with this vaccine.
