Information technology is currently ahead of all spheres of activity, Michael Bychkovsky, Vice President, Head of the Healthcare Cluster of the German SAP SE company, told Trend.
“In the near future, in the field of healthcare we can expect an active implementation of IT solutions,” Bychkovsky said.
“We will see the increasing importance of information data not only to optimize processes in hospitals but also to support doctors in making medical decisions,” said the company’s VP.
The telemedicine program will be actively used and expanded, the use of cloud (Cloud) services will become ubiquitous, he said.
In addition, many patients will be tracking their own health with fitness trackers and smartwatches, Bychkovsky noted.
“Such data will be automatically integrated with the medical institution and used in the treatment of patients. This method of application of technologies will help to improve the point of view of the attending physicians, as well as in determining the diagnosis of patients,” said Bychkovsky.
