Georgia is ready to send military instructors and doctors in Afghanistan as part of the NATO's new mission, which will start after 2014, Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze said on Dec. 4 in Brussels.
Panjikidze attended a meeting of foreign ministers of NATO member countries and the countries participating in the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan (ISAF).
The meeting discussed the future mission in Afghanistan and the upcoming presidential elections in this country.
Panjikidze once again underscored Georgia's readiness to contribute to the cause of global security and noted that the Georgian authorities are ready to continue to participate in the new NATO training mission in Afghanistan and to dispatch military instructors and medical staff to this country.
