Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr E. Huseynli / The Azerbaijan National Security Ministry detained a group, which was developing a coup d'etat.
The inhabitants of Baku Said, Dadashbeyl-32, Jeyhun Aliyev 24, Jahangir Karimov 24, Mikayil Idrisov 33, Rasim Karimov 26, Rashad Aliyev 31, Mubariz Suleymanov 28, Farid Agayev 26, Beybla Guliyev 26, Emil Mohbaliyev 30, Zaur Orujev 27, Samir Gojayev 28, and Fatulla Babirov 28, are suspected of establishing a gang in order to make a coup d'etat, to takeover the power and to commit other hard crimes, the PR Department in the Azerbaijani National Security Ministry stated to Trend on 14 December.
The imprisonment was selected for them as a preventive measure.
It was revealed that Dadashbeyli, working as a supplier in the American-Azerbaijani joint-stock Azeri M-I Drilling Fluids, harboured religious extremist ideas, and has set himself as an object to forcefully takeover the power in Azerbaijan, to change the Soviet state system, and to set the Muslim norms in the country. For this purpose he and his alike-minded accomplices established a secret gang NIMA (North Imam Mehdi Army).
