Washington hosts a Kazakh-American consular consultation, a spokesman for the Kazakhs Foreign Ministry Ilyas Omarov said.
He said that the Kazakh delegation, comprised of representatives from several state agencies, is headed by the Executive Secretary of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Rapil Zhoshybayev.
The talks will cover a wide spectrum of issues, including information exchange on accused persons, information on lost and stolen passports (through the U.S. Embassy and Interpol), citizenship issues, the mechanism and procedure for processing identification documents, introducing e-passports, international adoption procedures, infrastructure for border management, standardizing rates of consular fees for all categories, and multiplicity of visas up to $140.
