Chief of the State Migration Service (SMS) Firudin Nabiyev received a delegation led by the regional president of BP for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrell, the Press Service of the SMS said in its report released on Friday.
The Chief of the SMS congratulated Birrell with his appointment to a new post. Nabiyev, noting the important role of BP in the development of the oil sector, touched upon the works being held by the company, the progress achieved in this area, spoke about the mutual cooperation between the State Service and BP.
Birrel, touching upon the projects being implemented by BP, said that the implementation of these projects involves both domestic and foreign experts. Guest emphasized that cooperation in this field with the SMS plays an important role for the company.
The sides also discussed the issuance of employment and residence permits to the foreigners invited to Azerbaijan by BP.
