Turkmenistan's Balkandokma enterprise reveals volume of production of cotton yarn

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 30. Balkandokma CJSC, located in Gyzylarbat city in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan, produced 1,030 tons of high-quality yarn from January through March this year, Trend reports.

According to an official source, this complex, which occupies an important place among the high-performance enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, is equipped with modern technologies and advanced equipment.

The environmentally friendly yarn produced is in great demand not only in Turkmenistan, but also in foreign markets.

Furthermore, the annual production capacity of the enterprise is designed to produce 11,000 tons of cotton yarn from 13,000 tons of cotton fiber.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan plans to invest more than $300 million in more than 30 textile sector projects by 2025.

Significant investments will be made in both expanding present capacity and establishing over ten new manufacturing facilities, with existing firms serving as the foundation.
