Revenues of Azerbaijan’s Automobile Roads target state budgetary fund in 2019 amounted to 351.2 million manat, Trend reports citing a report on the execution of Azerbaijan’s state budget for 2019.
According to the report, the share of road tax amounted to 118.9 million manat ($69.9 million) in 2019, the simplified tax paid by legal entities and individuals engaged in passenger and freight transportation by motor vehicles that are owned or used, amounted to 6.3 million manat ($3.7 million).
The share of taxes on customs duties on imported cars amounted to 192.5 million manat ($113.2 million), taxes on state duties paid on the issuance of permits for international road transport Azerbaijan’s rhetoric, technical inspections of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers amounted to 33.5 million manat ($19.7 million).
The report also said that expenditures from the Automobile Roads target budgetary fund amounted to 302 million manat ($177.6 million) in 2019, mainly aimed at repairing and servicing public roads of national and local importance.
At the end of 2019, the balance of the fund amounted to 49.2 million manat ($28.9 million).
