The market capitalization of Microsoft Corporation exceeded $2 trillion for the first time, Trend reports citing Bloomberg on June 23.
The corporation has become the second in this indicator after Apple.
Microsoft’s shares increased by 1.2 percent up to nearly $266 during the trading on June 22. However, the share price dropped to $265.5 at the end of the trading.
NASDAQ index renewed a record high, reaching 14269.77 points.
The shares of technology companies also rose in price on June 22: Facebook (2.15 percent), Twitter (3.05 percent), Apple (1.07 percent). The cost of Microsoft’s shares increased by 1.1 percent by the end of trading.
