Tabriz-Baku-Tabriz
air flight will be commissioned in near future in order to enhance economic and
trade capacities of the Tabriz International Airport, ISNA quoted Iranian HOMA
Air Company managing director Saeed Hesami.
"We plan to commission the Tabriz-Baku-Tabriz flight in near future. This will
enhance economic and trade potentials of the Tabriz International Airport," Hesami said at the opening ceremony of four new domestic flights at the Tabriz International Airport on Feb. 4.
Iranian
air companies are operating flights to 35 countries. Today, Tabriz International Airport has commissioned flights with Ahvaz, Bandar Abbas, Esfahan, and
the Kish Island, he said.
Over the past 30 years, air transportation of passengers in Iran increased to 10 million people from one million, said Hesami.
