Negotiations are underway with the EU to simplify visa procedures and form a free trade zone, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said at a briefing on Feb.9.
The minister said the talks will lead to the expected results and "Georgian citizens will feel these results."
Vashadze added that visa procedures will be simplified by late 2009.
Talks to increase air transport between the EU and Georgia are ongoing.
