In May, prices for agricultural products in Azerbaijan decreased by 1.1 percent compared to March. Prices increased by 0.6 percent in January-May, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
Production prices for livestock products fell relative to the previous month by 3 percent, the statement said.
Production prices for grains and melons agricultural products increased by 0.4 percent, the olives and nuts - have decreased by 0.9 percent. Prices for vegetables have remained unchanged, citrus fruit prices increased by 4.1 percent.
Production prices for live veal fell 9.4 percent, live cattle - 1.1 percent. Prices for lamb increased by 0.1 percent, poultry meat has fallen in price by 2,2 percent. Prices of fish and fish products, and forestry products in May remained unchanged.
