OJSC "Meqa Sighorta" applied to CJSC "Baku Stock Exchange" (BSE) for inclusion of its ordinary registered book-entry shares to the non-quotation list of BSE, the Stock Exchange said.

The State Securities Committee has registered the issue prospectus worth 1.5 million manat in total. Within the emission 300 shares were issued at par value of 5,000 manat each.

The start of the OJSC "Meqa Sighorta"s shares placement is planned to be held beginning from December 22, 2010.

Underwriter of the placement is LLC "Chelsea Capital".  

Azerbaijani Insurance Company Meqa Sigorta has been operating since October 2010, replacing the BE & G company in the market. With the change of shareholders the company's shares are distributed among the seven physical entities. The company provides services on 24 types of voluntary and five types of mandatory insurance. The authorized capital of the company is two million manat.
