In frames of the state budget funds allocated to the Ministry of Economic Development for implementation of economic reforms in 2013, tender for implementation of planned activities has been announced, the ministry informed on Saturday.
Proposals should be submitted in the form of technical specifications, containing brief summary of the project, its purpose, duration, cost estimates, estimates of management structure, information concerning the manager and performers.
Projects should cover three areas: preparation of medium-term and long-term programs and regulations, analytical analysis and recommendations, creation of computer-technical base.
In frames of the first area proposals for structural changes in economy, improvement of the management structure of economy, finance and banking, tax and customs system, export structure and regulation of structural changes in the industry, enhancement of the investment process, development of the fuel and energy sector and others may be presented.
The second area involves evaluation and preparation of recommendations for socio-economic development, development of certain sectors, including infrastructure, economic evaluation of the currency market, currency and banking system, analysis of investments in the economy, assessment of implementation and recommendations for a program of privatization and so fourth.
The third area involves establishment system of subscriber information support center, information center (on legislation and other legal acts of Azerbaijan and foreign countries, statistical data on other countries, information about world prices, data on foreign companies and firms, etc.), use of information systems , preparation of the necessary software.
The cost of the projects shouldn't exceed 50,000 manat; implementation period is by the end of 2013.
Submitted project should be justified, but should not be the subject of projects financed by grants or other sources.
