Turkey's exports to Azerbaijan hit $2.6 billion in 2012 compared to $2.1 billion in 2011, a report from the Turkish Council of Exporters published on its official website, said today.
Turkey exported goods worth $228 million to Azerbaijan in December 2012 compared to $226 million in December 2011.
The range of products exported by Turkey to Azerbaijan (including the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic), consist of wood products (worth $266 million), cement ($118 million), precious stones and jewellery ($57 million), ferrous metals ($204 million), non-ferrous metals ($34 million), leather ($13 million), other products ($3.4 million), electricity ($275 million), carpets ($32 million), chemical products ($469 million), machinery ($198 million) and textiles ($16 million).
The main trading partners are Germany, where Turkey exported goods worth $12.9 billion in 2012, Iraq - $10.7 billion and Great Britain - $7.9 billion.
