Around 316 cars were produced in Azerbaijan between January and June, 2013, which is 3.3 times more than the same period of 2012, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Wednesday.
As the State statistics Committee said, about 147 trucks were produced in the republic in the first six months of 2013, which is 72.9 percent more than in January-June, 2012.
Despite the growth of car and truck production, a decline was observed in tractor production in the first six months of 2013. Around 413 tractors were produced during this period, which is 20.6 percent lower than from January to June, 2012.
