Doing business in Azerbaijan becomes easier
Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct.26
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy and Industry recommends the entrepreneurs wishing to receive licenses to wait for confirmation of new lists which include the licensed forms of activities in order to avoid additional costs for getting them, said the ministry's website.
In accordance with the decree signed by Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev dated Oct.19 on reducing the forms of entrepreneurship activities requiring special permission (licenses), simplifying the procedure of issuing them and ensuring transparency, the ministry is preparing special proposals on defining the forms of activities requiring licenses in connection with national security requirements and for reducing the number of licensed activities.
"The receipt of documents for replacing the expired licenses with new ones will start from Nov.2," said the ministry. "At the next stage, it is planned to start the receipt of appeals from entrepreneurs who are receiving licenses for the first time."
The licenses will be issued in the ASAN Service centers at the following addresses:
- ASAN Service center No.5 in Baku city (Baku, Nizami district, Heydar Aliyev Avenue, 115);
- regional centers of ASAN Service.
