Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on Japanese entrepreneurs to invest in the country's economy, Trend reports via Turkish media.
Erdogan noted that there are ideal conditions for the activities of foreign entrepreneurs in Turkey. He stressed that Japan is one of the important trading partners of Turkey.
The two countries have the necessary potential to increase trade, the president said.
In May 2019, the trade turnover between Turkey and Japan amounted to $321.770 million. Turkish exports to Japan in May 2019 amounted to $42.636 million, while imports reached $270.134 million.
The trade turnover between the two countries in 2018 amounted to $4.603 billion.
