Living wage decreases In Georgia

In June 2019 the minimum wage in Georgia decreased in comparison with May, Trend reports with reference to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

The minimum wage in May for the able-bodied person was 190.1 lari. In June this indicator decreased by 2 lari and stood at 188.1 lari.

The minimum wage for the average consumer decreased by 1.80 lari and amounted to 166.6 lari.

As for the minimum wage in terms of family member, in June there is a decrease compared to May: 166.6 lari for a family of one person, 266.5 lari for a family of two people, 299.8 lari - for a family of three people, 333.1 lari - for a family of four people, 374.8 lari - for a family of five people and 443.1 lari for a family of six people.
