Georgia exported locally produced goods worth $494.7 million from January through February 2021, which is 6.8 percent lower year-on-year, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

The share of domestic exports (export of locally produced goods and services, including those of foreign origin that have been substantially changed through local processing) in total exports constituted 74.6 percent and amounted to $369 million, 7.9 percent higher to the same period of 2020.

The top trading partners were:

- Russia ($64.9 million)
- China ($50.9 million)
- Turkey ($43.6 million)

From January through February 2021 copper ores and concentrates reclaimed first place in the list of top export items, equaling $94.5 million, or 25.6 percent of total exports.

The exports of ferroalloys totaled $52.1 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 14.1 percent. The exports of the wine of fresh grapes occupied the third-place standing at $25.9 million and constituting 7 percent of the total exports.
