Turkmenistan plans to auction 21 objects of state property for privatization by the private sector, Trend reports, citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The list of objects proposed for denationalization was also considered in accordance with the established procedure at a meeting of the Intersectoral Central Commission under the Turkmen Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The auctions for the sale of state property are held on a regular basis in the country.
Both Turkmen and foreign citizens, as well as non-state legal entities of the country and legal citizens of foreign countries who applied in the prescribed form and made the deposit for participation in the auction in due time, will be able to participate.
The foreign legal entities, international organizations established under the legislation of foreign states, their permanent representations and branches in Turkmenistan also can participate in the auction after receiving permission from Agency for Protection from Economic Risks under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
The last auction was held on June 4, 2021, at the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
