The physical volume of Kazakhstan’s GDP amounted to 15.9 trillion tenge ($37.1 billion based on current exchange rate) over 1Q2021, which is 1.4 percent less than during 1Q2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
Some 55.8 percent of the total GDP value account for paid services, 38.8 percent account for goods manufacturing, and 5.4 percent account for net tax.
The volume of goods manufacturing amounted to 6.1 trillion tenge ($14.4 billion) over 1Q2021, which is 1.7 percent more than in 1Q2020.
Of this amount, 5.1 trillion tenge ($11.9 billion) accounts for goods produced in industry, which is 0.1 percent more than in 1Q2020; 682.9 billion tenge ($1.5 billion) - for the construction sphere, which is 13.1 percent more; and 397.2 billion tenge ($925.9 million) - for agriculture, fishery and forestry, which is 2.8 percent more than in 1Q2020.
In turn, 8.8 trillion tenge ($20.7 billion) of Kazakhstan’s GDP accounted for services, which is 3.2 percent less than in 1Q2020.
Net tax stood at 864.01 billion tenge ($2.01 billion) of GDP, which is 3.1 percent less than during the same period of last year.
