TEHRAN, Iran, August 22. Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) to offer new vehicles for sale, Mohammad Nowruzpour, a senior official in the IME told Trend.
The IME will have a new list of auto offerings and based on the Ministry of Industries, Mine, and Trade announcement Bahman Motors will offer all its products for sale at the mercantile exchange, he said.
Nowruzpour pointed out that Iran Mercantile Exchange has approved the offering of the Capra pickup truck by Bahman Motor.
The legal process for offering Shahin by SAIPA has been completed and the car will be offered at the mercantile exchange in the next two weeks.
"Other domestic automakers are expected to go on with the process of sale guarantee and provide details of offering to the IME. The offering of new vehicles will start after the final approval of the Iran Mercantile Exchange," he noted.
The process of enlisting the offering of Iran Khodro 's Haima is underway while Kerman Motor is seeking to offer three products at the mercantile exchange.
The new listing comes after the resumption of auto offers via the IME after car sales were suspended by the Industries Ministry.
