Iran discloses details of non-oil exports via Kermanshah Province’s customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Kermanshah Province (western Iran), increased by 10 percent in value and 19 percent in volume, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2023), compared to the same period in the last year, an official of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh said, Trend reports.

According to him, about 1.83 million tons of non-oil products worth over $716 million were exported through the customs of Iran’s Kermanshah Province in 2 months.

The official added that the main goods exported via the province’s customs for the reporting period were fittings, ceramics, fruits and vegetables, construction materials, dairy products, rubber products and etc.

Abbaszadeh also noted that the mentioned goods were mainly exported to Iraq and others.

There are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in Kermanshah Province of Iran.

Overall, Iran exported 21 million tons of non-oil products worth $7.51 billion within the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023).

This is an increase of 12.3 percent in value, while a decrease of 13.7 percent in volume compared to the same period in the last Iranian year.
