Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 March / Trend / In 2007, Azerbaijan's budget received AZN 3.12bln from the sale of oil, gas and oil products, including AZN 1.86bln from the export operations, according to the Governmental report for 2007.
According to the report, last year the South-Caucasus gas pipeline exported 1.21bln cu m of gas to Turkey and 252mln cu m to Georgia. The oil product export amounted to 3mln tons.
In 2007, capital charges of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) comprised AZN 703.4mln (AZN 436.5mln up from 2006), including AZN 98mln spent for drilling, AZN 432.7mln for construction, AZN 171.2mln for the equipment requiring no assembling.
In 2007, the balance profit of SOCAR made up AZN 1.7bln. The company transferred AZN 1.8bln to the budget, which is by AZN 346.1mln up from 2006, and AZN 1.86bln to the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), AZN 927mln up from 2006.
