As of Dec.1, the number of gas subscribers in Azerbaijan is 1.457.202 million people compared to 1.444.156 as of Nov. 1.
This is stated in the article of SOCAR's Azerigaz production association head Akbar Hajiyev, published in the newspaper The Republic on Friday.
He said that some 1.439.264 million from a total number of consumers fall to a population group, while 17,943 - other consumers.
Some 656,211 (646,635 of a population group) of the total number of gas consumers fall to Baku, 800,996 people (792,629 of a population group) - the rest regions of the country.
SOCAR's Azerigas Production Association deals with gas transportation and sale in Azerbaijan.
