Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev by his decree has dismissed Iskandar Basidov from the post of chairman of the board of Uzbekenergo JSC, an energy company of Uzbekistan, a source in the company’s management told Trend.
Fazliddin Salomov, who previously worked as chief inspector of the Chamber of Accounts of Uzbekistan, has been appointed to Basidov’s post.
Basidov worked as head of the Uzbekenergo JSC since 2012.
This change is the most significant for the economy of Uzbekistan among the recent staff changes carried out by Mirziyoyev, according to experts.
Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev dismissed head of administration of the Jizzakh city (administrative center of the Jizzakh region), a number of heads of district administrations of Jizzakh region, as well as a regional prosecutor of the region.
Head of administration of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent and head of department of internal affairs of this district Saidakbar Pulatov were also dismissed in the Uzbek capital.
