Uzbekenergo JSC – the entity unifying Uzbekistan’s power industry enterprises, received a net profit in the amount of 472.574 billion soums in January-June 2017 that is 9.1 percent less than in the same period of 2016 (519.583 billion soums).
According to the company’s report, Uzbekenergo’s net revenues from the sale of goods increased by 22.4 percent – up to 3.576 trillion soums.
Gross profit totaled 932.681 billion soums (growth by 27.9 percent), operating profit – 798.328 billion soums (growth by 15.2 percent).
The company’s receivables went up by 19.3 percent and have reached 2.973 trillion soums since early 2017, as well as the overdue payments rose by 4.8 times – up to 64.995 billion soums.
Meanwhile, trade receivables rose by 3.4 times – up to 25.487 billion soums.
Uzbekenergo JSC includes 54 power enterprises of various forms of ownership.
