Four distributed power generation stations will be built in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province, Executive Director of the Iran-Azerbaijan Regional Electric Company Afshin Rovshan Milani said, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
Two local private investors will invest one trillion rials (about $23.8 million) for the construction of these power stations in the industrial parks of the province, he added.
Milani noted that the efforts are being made to begin the construction of these power stations this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019).
Each power station will have a capacity of 25 megawatts, the executive director said.
According to Milani, the power stations will be built in the ‘Foreign Investments’, ‘Beset’, ‘Akhula’ and ‘Shahid Selimi’ industrial parks.
