A shift to the use of electric vehicles is needed to create an enabling environment for zero emissions, British Regional Ambassador Laurie Bristow said, Trend reports.
He said that the entire region must expand its climatic resources and thereby solve the problem of global warming, since such problems are the realities of today. The number of electric vehicle users will increase by 2040 and the demand for fuel will decrease.
The ambassador also noted that clean energy is at the center of today's energy policy. Thus, global support should be provided to enterprises and organizations interested in this.
Laurie Bristow outlined that thanks to renewable energy projects, the UK has increased its exports by $2 billion.
Bristow also touched upon the aggravation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.
