Uzbekneftegaz and Indra eyeing implementation of joint projects

Uzbekneftegaz JSC plans to cooperate with Spanish Minsait (owned by Indra) for the implementation of the project on analyzing large volumes of indicators of the oil and gas processing industry, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

Specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and representatives of international companies took part in the seventh annual international conference "Oil refining and petrochemistry of the Caspian and Central Asia", held in October 2020.

A specialist of the ICT Department made a presentation during the conference on current and future digital transformation projects of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, as a result of which Spanish Minsait expressed interest in providing its services in the implementation of the presented projects.

The Spanish company presented its experience in implementing information technologies, as well as their solutions in the field of information and communication technologies.

In turn, Uzbekneftegaz JSC is interested in Spanish company’s assistance in the implementation of such projects as application of artificial intelligence systems in project management, decision-making for forecasting and analyzing large volumes of indicators of the oil and gas processing industry and creation of a unified automated control system for production capacities in the industrial safety.

Both sides expressed mutual interest in continuing bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation.
