Azerbaijan discloses oil production volumes from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 2

Oil production amounted to 17.2 million tons (together with condensate) in Azerbaijan from January through June 2021, Trend reports with reference to the report of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.

Thus, oil production decreased by 369,000 tons from January through June 2021 compared to the period from January through June 2020.

At the same time, 11.4 million tons of oil were produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields while 1.9 million tons of condensate at Shah Deniz field.

In accordance with the report, oil production by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) amounted to 3.9 million tons.

The production figures for the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz fields, which play an important role in the development of the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan, were also specified.

Oil production (with condensate) amounted to more than 567 million tons since the moment of commissioning until July 1, 2021.

Oil production from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli block of fields amounted to 535 million tons as of July 1.
