Nominal income of Azerbaijani population down in January 2021

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population decreased by 1.3 percent in January 2021 compared to January 2020, Trend reports with reference to the report of the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

The nominal income amounted to 4.01 billion manat ($2.3 billion) in January 2021.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the nominal per capita income in Azerbaijan decreased by 1.8 percent in January 2021 and amounted to 401.1 manat ($235.9).

The nominal volume of GDP amounted to 6.2 billion manat ($3.6 billion) in January 2021, which is 2.5 percent less than in January 2020.

In accordance with the statistics, the volume of GDP in the non-oil sector amounted to 3.9 billion manat ($2.3 billion) in January 2021 and this is by 0.1 percent more compared to January 2020.

GDP per capita amounted to almost 625.6 manat ($368) in January 2021, decreasing by five percent compared to January 2020.

After all mandatory and voluntary payments were paid, the population’s remaining income reached 3.6 billion manat ($2.1 billion), which is by two percent less than in January 2020.
